W.Va. U.S. Attorney: Kanawha County Woman Sentenced for COVID-19 Relief Fraud Scheme
CHARLESTON, West Virginia, Nov. 22 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia issued the following news release on Nov. 21, 2024:
Jessica Nutter, 39, of St. Albans, was sentenced today to, five years of federal probation, and ordered to pay $25,830 for receipt of stolen money. Nutter admitted to a scheme to defraud the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) of $20,830 in COVID-19 relief loans guaranteed by the Small Business Administration (SBA) under the Coronavir
