WASHINGTON, July 2 -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services issued the following news release:
Illinois, Kentucky, Oregon, Utah, and Vermont to provide better continuity of Medicaid and CHIP coverage for incarcerated people, whose health care needs -- from substance-use disorder treatment to chronic physical health conditions -- have historically gone overlooked.

FRANKFORT, Kentucky, July 2 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Kentucky issued the following news release:
A Lexington, Ky., man, Darnell Thomas, Jr. 32, was sentenced on Monday, by U.S. District Judge Gregory Van Tatenhove, to 240 months, for conspiracy to distribute 10 grams or more of fluorofentanyl, 40 grams or more of a mixture containing fentanyl, and heroin, and distribution of 40 grams or more of fentanyl.
