WASHINGTON, April 14 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has confirmed that a rule revising the technical specifications for the NAC International, Inc. Multi-Purpose Canister (NAC-MPC) System used in spent fuel storage will take effect on May 13, 2025.

The final rule, originally published in the Federal Register on February 27, 2025, modifies Certificate of Compliance No. 1025 to incorporate Amendment No. 9 as well as revisions to Amendment Nos. 6, 7, and 8.
