WASHINGTON, April 11 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Interior National Park Service has opened a public comment period for the proposed listing of several historic sites in the National Register of Historic Places. The pending nominations, submitted before March 29, 2025, span communities in Washington, D.C., New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Kansas, Nevada, Oregon, and Indiana, and represent a wide spectrum of the nation's architectural, cultural, and social history.
