WASHINGTON, Feb. 26 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved West Virginia's request to oversee a specialized program regulating underground carbon dioxide injection wells, known as Class VI wells, marking a significant step in the state's efforts to manage geologic carbon sequestration.
