Ky. PSC Suspends South Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative Rate Increase, Launches Investigation

FRANKFORT, Kentucky, Feb. 20 -- The Kentucky Public Service Commission (PSC) has suspended a proposed rate increase by South Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation (South Kentucky RECC) and launched an investigation into the matter. South Kentucky RECC filed its application for the rate adjustment on February 3, 2025, proposing the new rates take effect on March 5, 2025.
