ATLANTA, Georgia, Feb. 4 -- Lt. Gov. Burt Jones, R-Georgia, issued the following news release on Feb. 3, 2025:
Lt. Governor Burt Jones announced a priority for the 2025 Legislative Session, the "Fentanyl Eradication and Removal Act." Senator Russ Goodman (R - Cogdell) sponsored the legislation which would establish stiffer criminal penalties for fentanyl offenses.
