FORT DAVIS, Texas, Nov. 21 (TNSres) -- The University of Texas at Austin's McDonald Observatory issued the following news release on Nov. 21, 2024:

Today, astronomers at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and The University of Texas at Austin announced the discovery the youngest planet ever found using the transit method.
