MELBOURNE, Australia, Nov. 20 -- The Institute of Public Affairs issued the following news release:
"Freedom of speech in Australia is under attack like never before. The attempts to pass proposed 'misinformation' and 'disinformation' laws are the single biggest attack on freedom of speech in Australia's peacetime history, and have no place in a liberal democracy," said John Storey, Director of Law and Policy at the Institute of Public Affairs.
