SPOKANE, Washington, Nov. 20 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Washington issued the following news release:

Vanessa R. Waldref, the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Washington, announced the creation of a new, interagency Environmental Task Force to protect public health and safety, to ensure that everyone enjoys equal protection from environmental and health hazards, and to combat criminal conspiracies that attempt to profit from pollution.
