Today, the Department of Commerce announced it has finalized a $6.6 billion award to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) from the CHIPS and Science Act to support the expansion of TSMC's microchip manufacturing facilities in Phoenix, Arizona.
