COLUMBIA, Missouri, Nov. 13 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - Missouri Field Office issued the following news release:
Corn: Planted area is estimated at 3.45 million acres, down 10 percent from last year. Harvested area, forecast at 3.26 million acres, is down 11 percent from last year. Based on November 1 conditions, the Missouri corn yield is forecast at 182 bushels per acre, up 29 bushels from 2023. Production is forecast at 593 m . . .
