NEW YORK, Nov. 12 -- The New York State Metropolitan Transportation Authority issued the following news release on Nov. 11, 2024:
Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Metro-North Railroad today honored employees who have served in the United States Armed Forces, for their dedicated service and sacrifice as both veterans and public transportation professionals serving the New York metropolitan region. The MTA has employed veterans of every war since the Korean War.
