Disaster Recovery Center Will Open Tuesday in Macon County

WASHINGTON, Nov. 4 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:

RALEIGH, N.C. A Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) will open Tuesday, Nov. 5, in Franklin (Macon County) to assist North Carolina survivors who experienced loss from Tropical Storm Helene.
