TRENTON, New Jersey, Nov. 2 -- New Jersey Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin issued the following news release on Nov. 1, 2024:
The Attorney General's Office today identified the decedent and police officers with respect to a death following a police encounter on September 16, 2024, in Bayonne, New Jersey. The civilian who died in the wake of that encounter has been identified as Juan Poche, 44, of Bayonne, New Jersey.
