WASHINGTON, Nov. 1 -- The Council on American-Islamic Relations issued the following news release:
The Arizona chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-AZ), the nation's largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today welcomed an investigation by the Department of Justice into whether Arizona State University police violated the civil rights of four women whose hijabs were removed by officers during their arrest at a pro-Palestinian protest in April.
