WASHINGTON, Nov. 1 -- The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued the following recall alert on Oct. 31, 2024:

Name of Product: Bauer 20V Battery-Powered 4-Gallon Backpack Sprayers

Hazard: The sprayer pump on the backpack can leak chemicals into the battery compartment and can cause the battery to overheat, posing a fire hazard.

Remedy: Refund
