NEW YORK, Oct. 31 -- Teach For America issued the following news release on Oct. 29, 2024:
Hazard, KY--Today, Teach For America Appalachia (TFA) was awarded $500,000 from the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) for its new project, Strengthening the Talent Pipeline in Central Appalachia. The funding was made available through ARC's Appalachian Regional Initiative for Stronger Economies (ARISE) which drives large-scale economic transformation through multi-state collaboration.
