WASHINGTON, Oct. 31 -- Rep. Jodey Arrington, R-Texas, chairman of the House Budget Committee, issued the following news release on Oct. 30, 2024:

Today, the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) released its first estimate for economic growth in the third quarter (Q3) of 2024. The report found that real U.S. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 2.8 percent.
