MCLEAN, Virginia, Oct. 30 -- The American Association of Tissue Banks issued the following agency statement on Oct. 28, 2024:
AATB has signed a collective statement in support of the organ donation and transplantation community, addressing recent media attention surrounding a Kentucky organ donation case. We join others in urging the public to withhold judgment and avoid drawing conclusions until state and federal investigations are complete.
