WASHINGTON, Oct. 24 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's U.S. Geological Survey issued the following news release:
The updated land cover database now offers data starting in 1985 and in one-year increments--an improvement over the previous NLCD, which only mapped land cover from 2001 to 2021 and in two to three-year increments.
