AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 24 (TNSres) -- Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, issued the following news release on Oct. 23, 2024:

Governor Greg Abbott today highlighted new data published by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) that shows an almost 20% decrease in fentanyl-related poisoning deaths over the past year.
