ALEXANDRIA, Virginia, Oct. 24 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia issued the following news release on Oct. 23, 2024:

An Alexandria man was sentenced yesterday to 10 years in prison for selling counterfeit oxycodone pills containing fentanyl.

According to court documents, from at least February to April 2024, Alhagi Gassim Conteh, 30, obtained nearly 4,000 counterfeit oxycodone pills imprinted with "M30," but which contained . . .
