CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee, Oct. 23 -- The Cherokee Nation, a federally-recognized Native American tribe, issued the following news on Oct. 22, 2024:
The Cherokee Nation is contributing $10,000 each to nine Trail of Tears Association state chapters, Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr. announced during the National Trail of Tears Association Conference & Symposium.
