APHIS Updates Federal Domestic Oil Quarantine Map

WASHINGTON, Oct. 22 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service issued the following program update:

APHIS updated the Federal Domestic Soil Quarantines Map (https://www.aphis.usda.gov/sites/default/files/fed-soilregs.pdf) to include the following changes:

* Added the Mediterranean fruit fly quarantine in Alameda County, California

* Added the Mediterranean fruit fly quarantine in Santa Clara County, California
