NASHVILLE, Tennessee, Oct. 21 -- Vanderbilt University issued the following news:
After the historic football win against Alabama on Oct. 5, the student and fan celebration that left Vanderbilt's campus onto city streets required spur of the moment resources from the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) and other city services to ensure safety, particularly in the congested downtown area.
