RALEIGH, North Carolina, Oct. 19 -- The North Carolina Department of Insurance issued the following news release:

North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey will honor seven Mount Gilead firefighters who have a combined total of 244 years of service to their community on Saturday, Oct. 19.

The presentation will take place during the Mount Gilead Fire Department's 100 Years of Service Celebration, which is being held during the annual Mount Gilead Fall Festival.
