DURANT, Oklahoma, Oct. 17 -- The Cherokee Nation, a federally-recognized Native American tribe, issued the following news on Oct. 16, 2024:
The Inter-Tribal Council voted unanimously to support the retention of Oklahoma Supreme Court Justices Noma D. Gurich, Yvonne Kauger and James E. Edmondson.
