WASHINGTON, Oct. 15 -- Sen. Steve Daines, R-Montana, issued the following news release:
U.S. SENATE U.S. Senator Steve Daines introduced the "Modern Firearms Safety Act," which would prohibit states from enforcing unconstitutional handgun rosters. These rosters mandate that firearms include costly and unnecessary features like microstamping, loaded chamber indicators and magazine disconnect mechanisms. This makes it nearly impossible for manufacturers to sell new handguns. . . .
