SACRAMENTO, California, Oct. 15 -- Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-California, issued the following proclamation on Oct. 14, 2024:

Governor Gavin Newsom today issued a proclamation declaring October 14, 2024, as "Indigenous Peoples' Day."
