Disaster Recovery Center Opens in Watauga County

WASHINGTON, Oct. 14 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:

RALEIGH, N.C. A Disaster Recovery Center is opening Tuesday, Oct. 15 in Boone (Watauga County) to assist North Carolina survivors who experienced loss from Helene.

The Watauga County DRC is located at:
