FRESNO, California, Oct. 9 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of California issued the following news release on Oct. 7, 2024:
Bryan M. Williams, 41, of Atascadero, pleaded guilty today to bank fraud, U.S. Attorney Phillip A. Talbert announced.
According to court documents, between 2013 and 2019, Williams served as the treasurer of a Kern County political organization. During that time period, he stole between $230,000 and $435,000 from the orga . . .
