WASHINGTON, Oct. 5 -- Rep. Andrew Clyde, R-Georgia, issued the following news release on Oct. 4, 2024:
Today, Congressman Andrew Clyde (GA-09) introduced the Ending FCC Meddling in Our Elections Act. The legislation would prohibit the use of federal funds to enforce the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) notice of proposed rulemaking related to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in campaign advertising. Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) introduced the Senate companion in June.
