MEMPHIS, Tennessee, Oct. 5 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Tennessee issued the following news release:
Following a trial that lasted nearly four weeks, a federal jury found three former Memphis Police Department (MPD) officers guilty of federal felonies arising out of the assault on Tyre Nichols on January 7, 2023, which led to his death.
