WASHINGTON, Oct. 4 -- Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-Louisiana, issued the following news release:
Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Louisiana will receive $144,330,926.38 in funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in relief for Hurricanes Ida and Laura.
"Years later, our communities are still recovering from Ida and Laura. We've made progress, but there's still work to do," said Dr. Cassidy. "This funding will return many to wholeness . . .
