WASHINGTON, Oct. 3 -- Rep. Matt Rosendale, R-Montana, issued the following news release:
Today, Congressman Matt Rosendale (MT-02) sent a letter to the Director of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Tracy Stone-Manning objecting to the BLM's proposed Western Solar Plan. The plan would lock up 572,479 acres of public land in Montana for solar development despite solar having been proven to be inefficient and unreliable due to the sparse sunlight during winter months.
