WASHINGTON, Oct. 2 -- The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee issued the following news release on Oct. 1, 2024:
Two years ago, Don Bacon sided with his party to vote against the Inflation Reduction Act and the expansion of the ACA subsidies that kept health care costs down.
If Bacon and his party had their way, they would let these subsidies expire and raise health care costs on an estimated 34,000 people in Nebraska's Second Congressional District.
