WASHINGTON, Sept. 30 -- Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, R-West Virginia, issued the following news release:
CHARLESTON, W.Va. Last week, U.S. Senators Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) and Angus King (I-Maine) introduced a bipartisan resolution recognizing September as National Recovery Month to highlight substance use disorder and the recovery efforts needed to overcome this disease. The challenges posed by substance use disorder have wreaked havoc across West Virginia and the nation.
