SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Oct. 1 (TNSres) -- The University of Utah Health issued the following news release:
In the past four decades, the rate of childhood obesity has quadrupled, increasing kids' risk of serious conditions, including type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. This is a profoundly unequal public health crisis. Often driven by food insecurity or lack of access to organized physical activities, obesity is far more common in kids in low-income families or from rural areas. . . .
