SACRAMENTO, California, Oct. 1 -- Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-California, issued the following news release on Sept. 30, 2024:

Governor Gavin Newsom today announced his nomination of three Court of Appeal Justices: Justice Brian M. Hoffstadt as Presiding Justice of the Second District Court of Appeal, Division Five; Judge Michelle C. Kim as an Associate Justice of the Second District Court of Appeal, Division One; and Judge Anne K. Richardson as an Associate Justice of the Second District . . .
