SACRAMENTO, California, Sept. 27 -- Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-California, issued the following news release on Sept. 26, 2024:

Governor Gavin Newsom today announced he signed four bills into law to protect victims of human trafficking and help ensure that the predators who exploit them are held accountable.
