Today, Congressman Tom Cole (OK-04) released the following statement after voting in favor of the Continuing Appropriations and Other Matters Act of 2025 to avoid a government shutdown:
"Although governing by continuing resolution is not ideal, it is far better than the alternative. A full government shutdown would cause undue, harmful disruptions . . .
