DALLAS, Texas, Sept. 26 -- The Army and Air Force Exchange Service issued the following news release:

The MILITARY STAR(R) card has the lowest APR among all unsecured retail cards, according to Bankrate's annual Retail Cards Study. With an APR of 14.99%, MILITARY STAR is significantly lower than the industry average of 30.45%. The low rate is available to all card-members, regardless of credit score.
