ST. LOUIS, Missouri, Sept. 26 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri issued the following news release on Sept. 25, 2024:
A former professional basketball player on Wednesday admitted committing $272,774 worth of fraud involving pandemic aid programs.
Lorenzo Gordon, 41, of Chesterfield, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in St. Louis to one felony count of theft of government money.
