Today, Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr., (GA-02), a senior member of the House Appropriations Committee, supported the passage of a short-term funding bill to keep the federal government open and serving the American people. The bill was adopted by a bipartisan vote of 341-82(link is external) and now heads to the U.S. Senate for approval.
