WASHINGTON, Sept. 25 -- Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer, R-Oregon, issued the following news release:

Today, Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer (OR-05) voted in favor of H.R. 9747, a stopgap funding bill that will prevent a government shutdown on September 30 and extend critical programs, including protections for victims of SNAP theft. Chavez-DeRemer joined a bipartisan group of her colleagues last month, urging congressional leadership to extend these reimbursement protections.
