WASHINGTON, Sept. 25 -- Rep. Bill Huizenga, R-Michigan, issued the following news release on Sept. 24, 2024:
Yesterday, the U.S. House of Representatives passed legislation to rename the Battle Creek Post Office after abolitionist and civil rights leader Sojourner Truth.
