LOS ANGELES, California, Sept. 25 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for Central District of California issued the following news release on Sept. 24, 2024:
A Ventura County woman has been found guilty by a jury of defrauding a Beverly Hills-based independent publishing company and its owner by embezzling at least $1.3 million from the company and the owner's personal bank account over several years for her own personal expenses, including spa treatment, veterinary bills, and design . . .
