Rep. Soto Launch Communications Act Passes Congress

WASHINGTON, Sept. 21 -- Rep. Darren Soto, D-Florida, issued the following news release on Sept. 20, 2024:

Last night, the House of Representatives passed S. 1648--the Senate version of Congressman Darren Soto's (FL-09) Launch Communications Act. The Launch Communications Act requires the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to facilitate access to specified broadband spectrum frequencies for commercial space launches and reentries.
