JACKSON, Mississippi, Sept. 21 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Mississippi posted the following news release on Sept. 19, 2024:
The Justice Department announced today that it has opened a civil pattern or practice investigation into Rankin County, Mississippi, and the Rankin County Sheriff's Department (RCSD).
